At Enjoy the Moment Portraits, we’ve created the Senior Experience Session to help you celebrate this special year with portraits your senior will love — and you’ll cherish forever. Sonia Ahmad loves to document this life event with personality and flair uniqueness to each senior! In every session, she uses appropriate posing, props that represent each senior’s talents, hobbies, sports and personality either in her Cypress location studio or outdoor. She and her team scout for locations and backgrounds to match their individuality.

​Your senior will enjoy professional hair and makeup, a beautiful backdrop, and the chance to get creative with their wardrobe — from comfy sweaters to fashion-forward looks.
Bonus: This is a great time to bring mom or a sibling for a few meaningful family portraits.

​Three unique photo sessions throughout senior year, each one designed to highlight a different chapter of their story.

​1. Summer — Before It All Begins

The first session takes place before school starts (June, July, early August), when everything still feels fresh and full of possibilities.
Think golden hour, sun-kissed smiles, and relaxed vibes. It’s the perfect way to kick off the year with confidence.

3. Spring — Just Before Graduation

​The final session is all about celebration.
Bring the prom dress, best friends, cap and gown, and even a college T-shirt to represent their next big step.
These portraits are full of joy, pride, and personality — the perfect way to close out their senior year.

The most sought-after time for senior portraits is the summer before senior year or early fall. Scheduling during this window allows for relaxed planning, optimal lighting, and ample time for custom artwork, yearbook submissions, and graduation announcements—without feeling rushed.​
How do we prepare and choose what to wear?
Every senior receives a personal styling consultation to ensure their wardrobe feels timeless, elevated, and authentic. We guide you through outfit selection, color harmony, textures, and accessories so each look photographs beautifully and reflects your senior’s personality with sophistication and intention.
Where will the session take place?
Sessions may be photographed in our studio, on location, or as a curated combination of both. Whether your senior prefers a refined studio portrait or an elegant outdoor setting, each location is thoughtfully selected to complement their style and create artwork worthy of display.
How long is the senior portrait session?
Senior sessions are intentionally designed to be unhurried, typically lasting up to two hours. This allows time for multiple looks, creative variety, and a relaxed pace—so your senior feels confident, celebrated, and fully present.
Are parents involved in the process?
Yes. We believe senior portraits are a meaningful milestone for families. Parents are welcome and encouraged to be part of the planning and experience, ensuring everyone feels confident, informed, and cared for from start to finish.
What artwork and products are offered?
We specialize in heirloom-quality wall art, handcrafted albums, and fine art prints designed to be enjoyed for generations. Digital images are also available. During your private design and ordering appointment, we help you select artwork that complements your home and beautifully preserves this moment.
How far in advance should we reserve a session?
Senior sessions are limited and carefully curated, with peak dates booking several months in advance. We recommend reserving your session early to ensure availability and to receive the full, personalized experience we are known for..
