She was the 3rd one among 7 siblings. She was happily married with two kids. She finished her bachelors and masters after she got married. Started her career as a professor in the English department. She was very independent and caring to her family. Always proud of her sons. Loved to do shopping, especially for saris and jewelries. She was a diehard fan of soap opera for the last couple of years. She was unconditionally loved by her husband. I would say that she was a survivor: she survived a horrible accident about 20 years ago. That changed her life and directed her on a different path that was not as smooth as it was before. While I was literature student, she introduced me to her son. She proposed to me on behalf of her son. We had a few things in common such as being independent. She wanted me to dress up or wear jewelry, but I was always the other way around. …We didn’t spend a lot time together, but we always respected each other’s opinions. It was early 2014 when I saw her for the last time. I asked her if she wanted to buy some new saris. She would never say NO to it, so we bought 7 saris together. I bet she didn’t wear all of them. She also asked when she would see me next time! I said in two years…We talked about Shakespeare and Henry Wadsworth.
