This time of year, many families are celebrating the holidays and taking time to snap family portraits. Professional Portrait Studios can help create beautiful and lasting memories for your family. They can also help capture the spirit of your family at this particular time in your life. There are a couple of options when thinking about locations.
When it comes to family portraits, there are so many things to think about, right? What should we wear? How do we pose? Which background looks best? But one of your most important decisions is what your family will wear. Coordinating colors or color schemes can make your photos look polished and professional. Are you looking for a way to show your personality as a family? Why not try posing in creative ways? This can be a fun way to express yourselves and help you connect with one another. A Professional Photographer can help with this and even give tips on how to pose when you are looking to have a family portrait taken. Whether you go for a large wall art or Christmas card, you will want to make sure that you are posed in the best way possible. Have you thought that your family portraits could be a large piece of wall art? Professional photo labs can enlarge your photos to any size you want and look great. Whether you have them printed on canvas, metal, or paper, your family portraits will look amazing as large wall art! Archival quality photo prints are a great way to preserve your memories. Not only will they last for years, but they also provide a high-quality option for displaying your photos. Unlike regular prints, archival prints are resistant to fading and discoloration, making them an excellent choice for keepsakes. If you're looking for a way to protect your photos and display them in style, consider investing in an archival-quality print. You won't regret it! When creating a wall portrait, one crucial tip is to hang it at eye level. This will ensure that your guests can appreciate the artwork without straining their necks. Another tip is to use a frame that compliments the artwork. A simple frame can make all the difference in the overall look of your portrait. And lastly, don't be afraid to get creative! This is your chance to show off your personality and style. So have fun with it! Consider working with a professional photographer if you're looking for a more professional portrait session to capture some holiday magic! HOW WE CAN HELP!!!FRAME OR NO FRAMELET'S CHAT

It’s the start of a new quarter, which means it’s time to set new professional goals and map out the coming months.
If your 2022 plan includes leveling up in your industry, or you plan to enter an entirely new industry, you’re going to need headshots to go along with it. Perhaps you already have some headshots – is there really a need to take new ones? The answer is a resounding, yes! As with most other things, headshots have changed. New trends have emerged and it’s clear to see who has adopted them and who hasn’t when you browse online profiles. Notice the profiles that stand out. Naturally, your headshot should always match your industry if you want to get hired. If professionals in your sector dress in suits, you probably should too. The good news is there are ways to integrate industry norms with today’s headshot trends. Headshots today are centered around vibrant colors and quality lighting. And, with easier access to hair and makeup professionals, as well as high-end photographic equipment, headshots are now more about the close-up. Backgrounds are also playing a more integral role as they give the viewer some extra insights into your personality and profession. Basically, it’s about using the finer details to help you stand out among your peers. Your headshots are one of the easiest and most effective ways to level up your professional profile online and EtmPortraits want to help.
When it comes to headshots, what you see should be what you get – it's how you build trust as a professional.
We understand you have a busy schedule, but your headshots should always be a priority if you rely on your professional profile to bring in new clients. How can you tell whether it is time to update your headshots? You can answer this with one simple question: Would a prospective client or employer be able to recognize you if they compared your online profile to what they see in person? If the answer is no, it's time to update your headshots. Aging is just one part of the equation, though. You should also update your headshots if you have changed your style or haircut over the past two years. The small details can make a big difference in how you look. Perhaps you switched from contacts to wearing glasses. This is the kind of change that requires updated headshots. As a rule of thumb, it's recommended that you update your headshots every one to two years. This month's Headshots Special is somewhat similar to our Custom Session, but the good news is that you can choose your images right after the session. We will deliver the images electronically by the next business day. A Headshots Special session won't take longer than 60 minutes to complete, and you will walk away with a brand new set of edited headshots. Like any parent, you’ve been capturing your kids’ biggest moments since the day they were born. A professional family portrait session will help you not only capture your beautiful family but will bring their special personality, unique attributes, and fun, playful personas to life.
Whether you’re a new family of three, recently added a new member, or are simply savoring this amazing time in your children’s lives, any time is a perfect one for a portrait session. As the expression goes, “the days are long, but the years short”—time goes by so quickly and it’s essential that parents capture these beautiful moments before they’re gone. Many families even opt for multiple photo shoots in a year! Sessions take place on location, in a special spot where your family can be comfortable and have fun—think of a favorite park or field that has access to a restroom, backyard, beach, or anywhere you just love. Add in some favorite clothes, a special prop or two, and maybe even the family pet, and you’ve got a great session—and amazing pictures—you’ll love forever. They have changed a lot over the last two decades, incorporating more creativity and individuality than ever before. Seniors have a lot more options available to them, ranging from traditional sessions in a studio to trendy urban shoots. This is the perfect opportunity for them to showcase their unique talents, passions, and personality, while also creating a lasting memory. However, with all the available options, portrait sessions can quickly become overwhelming for both parents and seniors. Here are a few quick tips to help you prepare for your kids' upcoming senior session. Make a Note of the Yearbook Deadline. Knowing the yearbook deadline encourages you to schedule a senior session instead of putting it off until the last minute. Depending on your requirements, a senior photo session will start with a yearbook portrait followed by creative shots that are unique to your child. In most instances, it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the final images, so plan accordingly. The school where your seniors go to will have a designated or preferred studio for their year book portraits. You can always go to your choice of studio for a custom session. Look for a studio that is specialzed for your seniors sessions and offeres more options. Keep Your Senior’s Schedule in Mind As a parent of a senior, you already know how frantic their schedules can be. Before you go ahead and schedule a session, sit down with your senior to discuss a good time. They should be just as involved in the planning as you are. Even the specific time of day matters when scheduling a senior session. Ideally, you want to take photos just after sunrise and just before sunset, as this is when the lighting’s the best. However, the right photographer can make any time of the day work. Midday should be a last resort though as the lighting is far too harsh. Compromise with Your Child You may have a specific idea about the photos you would like to see, but this is about your child and what makes them feel confident and comfortable. Most senior sessions allow for several outfit changes, so use this as an opportunity to find a happy balance between what you want and what your senior wants. Be patient and hear them out before you brush off their ideas. Their portraits should represent who they are and what they love. Encourage Sharing Prior to a senior session, get your child to open up about their passions, hopes, and dreams. This information will help guide the shoot and ensure the most authentic photos. Knowing what your senior wants these photos to represent will also guide their outfit and location choices. Don’t forget to include your senior in the search for a photographer – a photographer’s style needs to fit in with the images you hope to create. Sonia Ahmad Certified Professional Photographer Enjoy the Moment Portraits etmportraits.com 281.758.8686 We had a custom portrait session with Dr. Nusat Ameen at Enjoy the Moment Portraits etmportraits.com. She wanted a couple of new headshots for her work, LinkedIn and her personal social media pages. We had worked together before many times, but this session was customized exclusively for her. We started with a pre-consultation where we discussed her needs. During the meeting, we made a solid plan for her custom session. On the session day, our makeup artist helped her get ready for the camera. Since we already planned out her wardrobe, she had many looks with multiple wardrobe changes effortlessly. Some images are shared over here.

Daya's vision is A south Asian community in Houston and beyond that is free from family violence. They will greatly appreciate your effort to support Daya a Non Profit Organization. I wanted to do a family portrait session, but it's not easy to plan one when the kids are grown up and have their own agendas. I took the initiave on whether it will be at outdoor location or indoor studio setting; I like private settings with controlled climate. That way, we have privacy and don't have to worry about flying hair and sweat. We went with dark colors clothing-wise and kept it casual at the same time. I already planned out how many frames I would be shooting, so it took only thirty minutes or less to create all the images that I needed. The focus isn't on how many photos are taken but rather on lighting, posing and the end goal (whether an album or wall portrait). I apply the same principle when it comes to you as my client.
Here are few things that you need to know before your family portrait session: * First, plan where do you want to display your family portraits. * Think about the surroundings- you want your session in private location or public place? *Plan your outfits at least a week or two weeks in advance. *Prepare your kids and husband what is happening and ask them if they know whether it is a lowkey, formal, modern or casual family session! *Make hair, nail, and/or makeup appointments before your session. * Does your photgrapher know how to Pose a family? *Communicate with your portrait photographer. Do you know we can show your portrait on your favorite living wall before you even purchase a wall portrait? It was a pleasure meeting the Austin family at our studio. We initially planned on this session to take place at their backyard. Unfortunately, it rained the night before the session. That's why we always have a back up plan back at the studio! Additionally, we had a surprise visitor, Prada the cute little puppy! It was fun talking to the Austin family and taking their portraits at the same time. This is what I love as a portrait photographer. Here are some of our favorites from the session
